Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented IT Expert to manage and optimise our technical infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations for our clients. This part-time role is crucial for supporting our web design and marketing teams, focusing on DNS management, domain handling, and email system setups.
Key Responsibilities:
- DNS Management: Configure and manage DNS settings via Cloudflare for client websites, ensuring accurate and efficient domain routing.
- Website Deployment: Transition websites from test domains to live customer domains, ensuring smooth and error-free launches.
- Domain Management: Oversee the registration, renewal, and transfer of domains for our clients, maintaining a well-organized domain portfolio.
- Email Migrations: Conduct email migrations for clients, ensuring the secure and seamless transfer of email accounts and data.
- Office 365 Setup and Management: Set up and manage Office 365 accounts for clients, including configuring email, file storage, and other Office 365 services.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support to the internal team and clients, resolving any issues related to domains, DNS, and email systems.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of all processes and changes, ensuring knowledge sharing and continuity.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in DNS management, domain management, and website deployment.
- Strong knowledge of Office 365 setup and administration.
- Experience with email migrations and managing email servers.
- Proficiency with common web hosting platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time role.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with WordPress and other CMS platforms.
- Familiarity with various web hosting providers including Siteground.
- Experience with Cloudflare.
- Basic understanding of web development concepts.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.

Job Type: Part-time
