R50 Marketing is today delighted to announce an exciting new partnership with Árón Taylor-Smith for the 2024 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship (BTCC).
R50 Marketing, a multi award winning website design company based in Newton Abbot, have become the official website partner for the Irish ace as preparations ramp up for the 2024 season. Taylor-Smith re-signed for Power Maxed Racing after a superb 2023 season and has certainly marked himself as one to watch for the 2024 season. Once acclimated within the team in 2023, the Irishman became a force to be reckoned with as he constantly challenged for podiums whilst accumulating four independent wins in the second half of the season alone. In a silverware-laden season for the Dubliner, Taylor-Smith also added the affirmation four Independent class victories to a trophy cabinet that already includes four outright race wins and, now, 20 podiums finishes since making his debut back in 2011. The past nine months have certainly marked something of a renaissance for Taylor-Smith’s touring car career, and the focus has already shifted towards making 2024 an even bigger step towards the ultimate goal of championship glory.
Taylor-Smith commented: “I am honestly delighted to welcome R50, Mark and Jazz into my BTCC program. I met with Mark before the Christmas break and was blown away by his understanding of the BTCC and this partnership has aligned perfectly as a result of this. We were able to tailor a program to not only appoint R50 as my official website partner but also capitalise on the marketing reach of the BTCC. I can’t wait to have the R50 team trackside at Thruxton this season.”
The team at Power Maxed Racing are in the midst of carrying out a host of winter development on Taylor-Smith’s Vauxhall Astra, as all eyes are looking ahead to the first race weekend at Donington Park on April 27th & 28th. Donington Park has always been a happy hunting ground for Taylor-Smith, most notably on the second visit during the 2023 season where the Irishman came within three tenths of a second of outright glory. Nonetheless, he finished in a superb second overall whilst notching up another Independents win on that occasion. With the team gearing up to commence pre season testing the exciting partnership with R50 marketing couldn’t have come at a better time.
