Manufacturing Case Study #2: Social Media Marketing For HH Point Of Sale (HH POS)

The Client:

HH Point Of Sale (HH POS) are a multinational manufacturing company with bases in both the UK and China, who specialise in producing standard and customised point of sale solutions for the beverage sector.

An industry leader, HH POS works with world-renowned brands like Kopperberg, Greene King, Budweiser, Bud Light, Strongbow, Molson Coors, and more, designing and producing solutions such as beer fonts, beer towers, tap handles, and digital displays to maximise sales and boost brand impact in hospitality venues worldwide.

HH POS came to us with the brief of improving their online presence and getting their name in front of as large and as relevant an audience as possible.

In particular, they wanted us to showcase the products they make and demonstrate how these can solve many of the common problems that businesses in the beverage sector often experience. The longer-term goal was to generate interest in their products and services that would lead to more enquiries and an increase in sales.

As part of our strategy for them, we recommended a social media marketing campaign.

The Process:

A social media marketing campaign involves a multifaceted approach to promoting products, services, or brands through various social media platforms. It requires creating and sharing content tailored to specific target audiences, engaging with followers, and generating brand awareness.

As the first step in our social media marketing process, we check to see whether the client has existing profiles on the social media platforms that we will use for our campaign.

With HH POS, they had no social media profiles at all, so before anything else, we created accounts for them on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter (X), and LinkedIn, making sure to properly fill out the profiles with images, contact details, and information about the business so that they looked legitimate and professional.

Next, we connected all the new social media profiles to the content scheduling software we use. Once this was done, we were ready to start creating and scheduling posts!

To help with this, we made sure to get lots of photos from HH POS and details about their work, so that we could create accurate and engaging content about their products, their design and manufacturing process, and how the beverage industry benefits from their output.

As with all our social media marketing clients, we make sure to have a full week’s worth of content scheduled in advance. This allows us to plan ahead and always be ahead of schedule, while providing the flexibility for us to amend the content, or create new content at short notice based on client requests.

The Results:

As a direct result of our social media marketing campaign, HH POS have accumulated over 1,130 followers across all their social media platforms and received several excellent leads from major brands in the beer brewing and beverage industries.

Since the social media marketing campaign has gone so well, we are now looking to develop an ecommerce store for HH POS so that they can sell directly to the online audience we have generated for them.

In addition, the marketing we have carried out for HH POS has seen them become a major competitor in their industry, now being considered an equal to their much more established rivals.
